Carolina Inspirations

A Legacy of Lowcountry Design. 100 Plans That Started It All.

Before we had a website, we had Carolina Inspirations—our very first printed catalog. It introduced builders and developers to our take on Lowcountry architecture: homes with deep porches, raised foundations, timeless proportions, and a deep respect for place.

Today, the Carolina Inspirations collection includes over 100 house plans and garages that remain just as relevant as the day they were drawn. These designs represent the heart of our architectural philosophy—blending tradition, simplicity, and livability into every square foot.

What Defines a Carolina Inspiration?

  • Rooted in the Lowcountry – Raised foundations, wide porches, and breezy layouts suited for hot, humid climates.

  • Timeless Southern Style – Architectural details drawn from historic towns like Beaufort and Charleston.

  • Builder-Friendly – These plans were made to be built, often used by developers and neighborhood planners as foundational designs.

  • Real-World Tested – Many of these homes have been built dozens (if not hundreds) of times across the U.S.
