1. Intellectual Property & Copyright
License to Build
When you purchase a house or garage plan, you purchase a construction license. The catalog offers two license types:
- One-Time License: Full construction document set in PDF format for a single build—this is the option most buyers choose.
- 2 Year Unlimited Build License: Two-year license term for multiple builds where your product agreement allows.
The plans remain the intellectual property of Allison Ramsey Architects, Inc.. Any unauthorized reproduction, modification, or reuse without express written permission is a violation of federal copyright law. See our License & Copyright Policy.
All content included on this site, such as text, graphics, logos, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, is the property of Allison Ramsey Architects, Inc. or its content suppliers and protected by international copyright laws.
2. Purchases
If you wish to purchase any product or service made available through the Service (“Purchase”), you may be asked to supply certain information relevant to your Purchase including, without limitation, your payment details and billing address. Shipping information is collected only when you order a printed construction set. Digital PDF licenses are delivered electronically — see our Shipping page.
You represent and warrant that: (i) you have the legal right to use any credit card(s) or other payment method(s) in connection with any Purchase; and that (ii) the information you supply to us is true, correct and complete.
3. Refund Policy
Refunds, billing-error review, and professional-service cancellation terms are described in our Refund Policy. That page is the detailed rule for digital licenses, printed sets, and related services. Where this section and the Refund Policy differ, the Refund Policy controls.
4. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Allison Ramsey Architects, Inc., nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.
5. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of South Carolina, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
6. Changes
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
